IGN India just put out the worst review I've ever seen
The whole thing is too long to copy here, so you can read it for yourself if you want.

He starts off with an entire paragraph explaining his own preferences and experiences with RPGs. Then after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the UI , he goes on to talk about the graphics:

Don’t expect much in terms of the visuals though. At times, I almost felt as if we’d whipped out our copy of Mount & Blade. It was that bad. Dragon’s Dogma suffers not only from shoddy texture work and an overall muddy, last-gen presentation, but when you look at the models and item placement, it just feels a bit unfinished. Not Mount & Blade levels of unfinished, but rough around the edges, especially if you put it up against the open worlds Rockstar, Bethesda, even Ubisoft churn out. You can’t blame the PC version for this—Dragon’s Dogma was always a little rough around the edges.

So basically, we’re looking at an unpolished, low-effort PC port here. Why bother with it at all? Because of the exemplary combat. This is a whole different ball-game from Dark Souls’ measured, deliberate pacing.

Since when does low res textures = bad port? I didn't know that HD textures were mandatory when porting over a game. It doesn't affect performance and gameplay, and it certainly doesn't look as bad as he describes it, it looks nothing like M&B. He then goes on to praise the combat system a little bit, before closing the article with this paragraph:

Dragon’s Dogma is not for everyone. It wears its J-influences on its shoulder. The tone-deafness of electric guitar riffs playing during a medieval combat situation can get annoying. But if you can get past that, and the annoying voice work, and the dull colour palette and uninspiring world design, Dragon’s Dogma offers some of the finest RPG combat this side of Dark Souls, and a massive open world to make use of it.

The NPC animations are not the best, but voice work? Personally I thought they were excellent, to the point where I have absolutely zero desire to look for a Japanese dub, because I felt the voice actors were extremely in character and really put a lot of effort and emotion into their lines. The world design is also something I disagree with, it's only weak when compared to Bethesda games or cdpr's latest project, TW3. Triple A games with four additional years of development and a huge budget. Otherwise, Gransys seems like a culturally rich world to explore for me. As long as you don't play the game staring at walls, or constantly zooming in on objects, the graphics and world design seem fine to me.

Not only was it a painfully short review, with almost the entire first half consisting of nothing but talking about himself and other games. It's also misleading because it hardly talks about pawns, and hard mode, NG+ , and many other things that make up a large part of the game's experience and replayability. It's an extremely unfair review and very misleading to potential new players.
