Gold Idol who to give it to?

I got an Assassin build going and most likley won't change it anytime soon. Should I give the gold idol to caxton or madeline? I don't care much about armors im looking for the best daggers/bows basically out of this choice.

Madeleine is more about female-caster type gear, really.

To be honest? i say forgery it and keep it. it's a massive 30% discount to all shops if you keep the idol in your inventory. give the forgery to one of them to complete the quest. you get better items once you beat the dragon. your about 5 main story quests that boss fight anywayfrom him anyway.

Whats the point of keeping the original? Can I use it later? Because I know that the forgery proovides the 30% discount as well so what would the benefit be of keeping the original Idol?

Don't need the original as long as you have a forgery.

Don´t give the forgery to a shopkeeper or they won´t upgrade their shops. The forgery grants the same discount bonus as the original.

well what i am try to say is that it really doesnt matter what you do with it. just keep one for yourself. getting better gear on either madeleine and caxton doesn't really matter.

If its your first run, forge the gold idol and give the real one to Caxton. The forgery still gives you 30% off on most vendor's items as long as you are carrying it.

Is your character female or male? Madeline has some female specific gear.

oh while were at it. i dont remember if discount items stacked. Does the medal stack with the idol? because i know the idols dont stack with each other.

Caxton has bows and you would want those over Maddy's Daggers.

No they dont. Higher discount takes precedent. This applies to the Wyrm Hunt badge and the other badge you get from the Duke.

Caxton sells weapons, Madeleine doesn't :p Easy choice lol.
