Kick the ox.

I am on my third playthrough now after getting my UR dragon kill directly after my daimon 2.0 and I didn't know for the life of me that you could kick this damn thing to make it go faster. Literally, the only thing I dread is this starter quest and now I don't have to anymore.

You can teleport with escorts so it helps if you got crystals set up.

Welp, I've been playing this game for years. I have done that quest 20 times or more. I only learned about this ox kicking trick on this playthrough ;)

Play as mage and kick/heal the ox. It's very useful for speedruns.

Or just stand in front of the ox when you kick it --> ox tramples you --> you take damage --> Mage Pawn heals you --> stand close to ox ;)

It's kinda funny. Now that I learned about holy pact+demon items to up my magick? Daimon is a joke even on hard/ 2.0 =o. I think I might have to make a new playthrough as a melee or something or just stop using holy bolts lol. Wrecks pretty much everything.

A melee character will wreck him just as much though, given that you have good enough gear. Just jump on his face and use Thousand Kisses/Deadly Gouge. He will stagger the entire fight and killing one of his forms takes less than 30 sec basically.
