Queen's Clothing Curse
I found this quite interesting, earlier this morning I finally changed my pawn out of the Queen's Clothing and then changed her inclinations to be more proper. After I cleaned her up I slept at an inn and closed out for awhile. When I came back I noticed three people, for the first time ever, actually rented my pawn. Almost makes me wish I switched out of those clothes sooner.

I don't hire pawns in that silly outfit. It's cheating to wear it.

My pawn is always on tour wiith others. ;)

That dress is good enough for early levels but after a time, the defense is simply not enough. I cannot tell you how many times I've seen lvl 50+ pawns in the rift wearing that dress. I send them away immediately. I'm not interested in picking up dead pawns every second.

Read this: https://cheapbossattack.wordpress.com/2012/08/31/dragons-dogma-building-a-better-pawn-or-how-not-to-suck-at-being-a-virtual-pimp/

Should be part of the manual.

Also your pawn may have been rented with the dress on but they had not released it back to until now. You don't get the pawn rental updated until the pawn has been returned to you. People can keep you pawn for days or even a week especially at higher levels when the levels come more slowly and there is no need to switch as often.

Not all of us have played the game before or the expansion. We all can't be all knowing about a game that just came out.

I played on the PS3 but did not get into the expansion, will be doing it for the first time on the PC version.

I was wearing the robe of elightenment, until i farmed enough gold for the Ancient set.

Over 100% resist to most debilitations + the staff that auto resurrects your mage pawn = an unstoppable, unkillable mage pawn :D

I have never played the game before this week either, but I appreciate players who have obviously put some thought into their pawn. Also, I did a fair bit of reading when choosing gear (which is why I equipped my Mage pawn as I did, as per the above post).

Not saying I don't generallty do the same, but until you start seeing pawns in lategame equipment, the dress/armor does give the best combined physical/magical resistance available to a magic class once it gets upgraded or dragonforged.

I don't use it, yes, it's the best free set early game but it doesn't fit in my idea of a combat dress. Rolepaying > all.
