iirc Oblivion set has the better specs. Shadow was part of the 13 needed to complete the quest and get the Savior ring....Personally I mix & match ie if I get the Shadow boots with +20cw I'll wear those even if the rest is Oblivion.....hope I'm making sense, it's late :)

oblivion has both margninally better stats, and access to superior enchantments, but as to whether it looks better, well that's up to you

All of the bbi armor sets get access to the same enchantments actually, i have the coat for both oblivion and shadow, my oblivion has the hp regen that gives 0.9hp/ps where as my shadow gets the 4.5hp/ps.
