Pawn healer
Since the begining I had pawns that healed me and the whole party with magic. Now every mage pawn I choose doesn't heal. What does a pawn need to have to heal? What is the name of the spell?

Tnx

mage, anodyne.

Inclination is important too, you want medicant inclination, but not in first position or they will stop spells casting to heal small injuries.

You need a Medicant with Andodyne or high Anodyne.

I remember people saying anodyne was better than high anodyne because it casts faster. Is that true? Does utalitarian affect buffing by any chance? Not sure which pawns to hire for a mage

Utilitarian pawns will prioritize enchants and debuffs over damage, IIRC. So yes, there.

Guardian, Mitigator, Acquisitor, Pioneer... what are those for? There are so many different

Just find 1 with medicant as secodary, dont get one with primary unless you want the mage to do nothing but heal even if something kiss you...he will start healing and wont even do dmg lol...

Util 1st Medicant 2nd is the best supporter generally

the sorc and mage icon almost looks identical, maybe you've hired sorcs instead?

I am not still sure how this works. For example, atm I have a mage Utilitarian/Medician, and she doesn't heal at all. Why would that be?

Does she have the anodyne skill too?

High Anodyne has a persistent heal effect after you leave the area of effect. Anodyne you all have to stand in to be healed.

So High takes longer to cast, but heals for more and doesn't require the whole party to stand still.

She doesn't have anodyne

just teach her anodyne and set her to Utilitarian/Medician with elixers and she will heal when needed

I would add Challenger as a 3rd inclination myself (doesn't show in the top 2, pawn will staff blast archers and stop you having to chase them down)
