144fps support?
I was looking to build a new PC to use with my 144hz monitor, but does the 'variable' framerate option mean it supports 144fps?

Would I even be able to reach that with a GTX980Ti and i7 6700k?

It caps at 150FPS, if I remember correctly.

Do you run 60 smooth as is? Given the current stability of the game I would be suprised if you could mantain 144 without problems. I have issues running on a GTX970 with an i7 6820.

I am on a 3570k and 980ti, currently on a 1920x1080 120hz monitor. Settings are maxed out.
Running around Gransys, the fps fluctuates a lot(60-150), especially when looking at distant terrain. On average i'm getting about 90+-

In smaller zones and dungeons it is mostly capped at 150.
Gran Soren fluctuates from 90-150

Hope this helps

Yes and yes. I have 2 970s, but SLI is not supported. I get 120 FPS at 1080 and 100 FPS at 1440 with the grahics maxed. With a 980ti, you should have no problem getting 144 FPS.

There are small framerate fluctuations like on most games. But I'm talking 5-10 FPS, I haven't seem more than that. Most of the time it's fairly steady.

ANyone knows why my fps are capped at 60fps i tried changing reresh rates of my screen to 100,120,144,165 and the fps are still 60 with vsync off and variable refresh i even turned Gsync off thinking that's why it might be the case.
Im giving up, my GPu is at 25-30% usage TitanX so there should be no problem maxing this game at 150fps

You poor darlings - console peasants got 720P at 30FPS of they were lucky ☺

Doesn't Freesync and G-Sync require the frame rate to be capped to the monitors maximum refresh rate? ie: a variable refresh rate that maxes out at 150FPS would be bad when it exceeds 144fps?

Or do such monitors communicate with the drivers and impose a frame rate cap somehow?

You need to go into the graphics options in the game and set frame rate to "Variable."

Thats what i did i even mentioned in the post makes no diference usage is only 25-33% max on one GPU.
Im running SLi TitanX with 165hz GSync screen
I even Force my CPU to Max Speed 4.3ghz to make sure its not CPU staying in low power mode.

I tried every posible combination it just want move above 60 fps
VSync ON-OFF makes no diference
Variable FPS - ON
Gsync ON-OFF makes no difernce

And reading on forum here looks im not the only one having this problem
I even chose 120hz and 100hz all the way to 85hz no diference still same 60fps but not locked its 46-57/59
And is there motion blur in this game bacuse everytime i spin i can see motion blur which makes me dizzy, any option to turn it off?

Thanks for the reply

Try disabling one of the GPU's if possible, also make sure Vsync isn't set to the adaptive vsync setting in Nvidia Control Panel.
