Confused about post-game and newgame + help needed
I am in the post-game now but my question is when i finish the main quest in post-game then i go to newgame+ automaticly ?

Because i dont want to go to new game + yet because i want to lvl up in post-game and find ur-dragon, and play dark risen.

So if i follow the main quest in post-game i go to newgame +? but i dont want to do that yet, can i find the ur-dragon before new-game +?

Just don't turn in the 20 wakestones till you're ready because once you give them to Quince...NG+ won't auto start you need to "load game" from main menu...DO NOT SELECT "NEW GAME" or you'll lose all and start from scratch.

You can do anything you want. just dont do the 20 wakestone quest or else you will be taken to the point-of-no-return and forced to finish your current game.

Yes, turning in the 20 wakestones is the point of no-return.

I screwed this up and had to finish out and start a New Game +, but Bitterblack Island unlocks about 5 minutes into the game, and all of your character stuff carries over (assuming you load the completed game) so it was not a big loss.

As others have said, so long as you don't turn in the wakestones you get to stay in the post-game.

It should also be noted, however, that if your reasons are solely because you want to fight the Ur Dragon and go to Bitterblack Isle, then you don't need to stay in post game to do either of those things.

Upon arriving in Cassardis in NG+, you'll be able to go to BBi (by night as usual) and also a new special rift stone will be placed on the beach especially for quick access to the Ur Dragon, regardless of where you are in the story.

You can fight the Ur-Dragon in that one place that opens after a significant story plot. Should be at the bottom, the very bottom, the one closests to the very bottom.
