Killing seagulls mission
Hy there, i´m not able to kill these ##### 2 seaguls, i`m a swordfighter and have no bow ( thats one of the just a few things i don´t like about this game, that the sword fighter can´t use no bow, and reverse ) so i trouwght everything i could on them, stones, bombs, pawns.... but no way i´m not able to get them, i mean the throwing system is´nt very exactly good made, in my opinion, or, i´m simply too stupid to figger it out...:steamhappy:

Fighter also doesn't get double jump or levitate. It's why I'm not a fan. :steamfacepalm:

It's almost impossible with a Fighter. I've hit one once with a Blink Strike, but it's not very likely to happen... So basically do some other mission unless you want to drive yourself crazy.

A fighter CAN actually kill them using a well timed blitz strike. But if it's easier for you, you can simply keep following the story until you reach Gran Soren. Then use the inn there to switch classes to either a mage or a ranger, then return to kill them.

Haha, this brings up old memories. You have to either switch classes to a ranged attacker(strider/mage) or be extremely precise with blink strike.

take like two minutes to go out to Bitterblack Isle and switch to Strider, then change back.

Couldn't you just sprint+jump+light attack? Seagulls tend to just fly directly away on detection, but never super-high for the first few seconds. It you want to double-your chance, just start your run facing a ciffside, and the seagull should fly away from you, reach the cliffside, then 'bounce' off it, giving you another chance to reach with a sprint+jump+strong attack.

That, or spend a few DP, turn into another class, then switch back. As soon as your reach the first encampment area, you can go to the docks at night in the starting town and get to a job changing spot.
Holy sh*t, I'm so happy that I rolled with a strider and not a warrior...

I literally can hit them with blitz strike with no problem. Same with blink strike. lol
Go to the unusual beach and find any on the beach and approach them slowly.

Ok, thanks for your answers everybody, i tried the blitz strike trick several times, but without an result.
Thnk i will try this thing with changing my vocation, kill em and than change back. I realy hope it works with the changing back thing, cause i want to abserve the game as an sword fighter, this time, next time i´ll choose one of the others, to see which differents it makes.

Shock them with a rock.

Changing to a class you already have used is free. That seagull mission is totally worthless, though, so I don't know why you care about it...

I just made sure I was unencumbered, ran up, and did a normal attack.
