Is there anyway to skip the prologue?
I want to re-edit my character because I can't zoom in enough in the CC to see my character's eyes. Ended up with really feminine-looking eyes.

You can re-create tha character by buying an item at the encampment tent. It costs 5000 Rift Crystals
Once the pawns bring rewards as they should, wou'll get those crystals easily and then you can edit your player and pawn :)
Right now the reward system is broken so be patient :)

Start hardmode then switch back.

Does that skip the intro or just allow recustomization somehow?

Why restart the game over something so petty?

Use the right stick to zoom your character in and out during creation.

Some people want the perfect character. I can't tell you how many times I restarted Dragon Age Inquisition to get my chars just right before they added in the black market with the mirror for editing your character.

I know this is necro'ing the thread but you can't seem to switch from hard mode back to normal, BUT I did die once against the chimera and it skipped that whole battle. So I am guessing as long as you die you can skip all the BS.

Yes, you can switch from Hard back to Normal. The switch is in the pause menu, Options, scroll down to where it displays the difficulty. The other way to do it is to die, and the Retry prompt should have an offer to step down from Hard to Normal, or Normal to Easy.

LOL, I just died during the main game and found out that. Oh and you are right, I just saw that you could swap from normal to hard through the main menu, and found later on that scrolling right to the bottom of the gameplay menu ingame gives you that option.

Edit: I have to "fix" my previous idea about dying during the prelude, you seem to have to get a certain distance through the prelude before you can die to skip it. I just tried jumping off the first cliff and all it had me do was retry the "save".

You can die to chimera to skip intro, after that whenever you switch to hard mode or ng+ you restart from the fight with grigori, simply die to flames if you don't want to spend time.

Confirmed. The only way to skip the prologue before the character creation is to die to the Gryphon beast battle. Without summoning your pawns. Cause one of your pawns will heal you.

It's a chimera, and it's a 2 year old thread....

there's literally zero reason to not necro a thread. why would you even bring it up or think it matters?
