I have a SLI set-up (980), but the SLI is not support yet, so with only one 980, the game works perfectly fine in 2560x1440p / MAX settings / MAX AA / MAX FOV with constant 60 FPS.
In 4K, the framerate falls, something like between 35-50 FPS.
Anyway, if you want to use 4K resolution, you need to configure "DSR" option in nvidia Panel.
If they have display port it should show 4k as long as they have a compatible GPU.
The game has problems anyway , it won't keep 4k DSR option when you restart. It reverts back to whatever your native display is despite saying it saves the setting in the menu.
I have no problem here. 1440p still there after restart.
I am playing it on native 4k monitor. It works.
What OS are you on if you don't mind my asking? Also, display port or HDMI 2.0?
Nvidia card? If so, then those having issues, myself included, are dealing with an EDID (Extended display identification data) bug. In other words, the game doesn't recognize some monitors, TVs, etc., as being capable of resolutions above 1080p. Most games query the operating system, and only the operating system for all available resolutions, which ensures maximum compatibility. DDDA, however, seems to be getting display information from both the OS and the EDID in the display drivers, and that's causing problems for some users.
