They way people use it though these days could mean lolita complex or just little girl.
I hate kids.
Deal with it.
Being around that weight and height ,I can assure you it's just fine.
But as people said, you'll see your faves on the streets. So add some nice pawns to favourites.
Which is totally fine for the various "Dwarves", Children* and such characters. No issue with those and I actually like running a "Dwarf" character, especially Warrior.
However these "Micro Women-who-get-paid-for-sex" are the ones with the smallest height, largest breasts and wearing Silver Bikinis or otherwise Skimpy - non existent clothing. That's the problem and that's what drives me nuts. I'm more lenient on the taller Pawns clad in lingerie simply because that's modern society now, I still dislike them and don't hire them. I also dislike Tarzan Male characters for the same reason. I'm okay with "He-Men", at least they have Pants.
Personally my Pawn is a Woman that's around 5 feet tall; give or take a couple of inches, sizeable breasts(thanks to her small frame) but I almost always have her fully clothed. Not trying to be a Pimp and selling my Pawn at the nearest Rift Corner for RC.
*By Children I mean Pawns that are extremely small with childlike features. However they are usually fully clothed and do not have makeup. They also don't feature breasts or bulging muscles.
The last child, i saw, was boy with one of the bigger longswords and chimeric armor. More adorable mini-knight of doom than disturbing.
I blame the Weebs or otherwise "Anime Nuts" that are literally obessed with Anime stuff. I mean, it's cool you like/watch Anime. I enjoy watching a handul of shows too ... but to need make those sorts of characters across multiple venues? C'mon on.
I saw that kind of stuff all the time in Souls/borne games where people would literally play as Guts or Anime Girls. First few times it illicits a chuckle but when ~80% of Invaders/Summons are Anime-inspired characters ... it's annoying. This is especially so in a game like Dragon's Dogma where you have a lot of options to make any sort of character. From a sterotypical Medieval Templar/Knight to Samurai Ninjas with Bows and Daggers to Gandalfs, Merlins and other Wizards ... and it's non-stop Guts, Waifus and Lolis, At least in my experience. Thank God for Friends Pawns taking precedence over everyone else.
Remember to give them love-in-the-rough as a farewell gift.
I'd say its a fandom. One of many.
Yes, one might say that there are not as many Gandalfses and Legolasses than Gutses and whathaveyou, but who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cares.
I do get a giggle out of pawns that are original (fat midget named fart huffer currently holds the number one place), but really...why is 80% of anime inspired things so troubling ?
I simply wonder.
P.S.
Capcom are big fans of Berserk anime themselves. Dark Souls have many references to the said anime; Same goes for Dragons Dogma (heck, there is even a full set and a greatsword perfectly matching one of Berserks outfits).
Because it reduces variety. If I go to a restaurent and 80% of the menu is different forms of a Burger ... the hell's the point Y'know? I like having some sort of variety.
