I just ran into them! Second playthrough, doing main story quests and just walking through everything, then I run into these and in that tiny space with my character the wrong class. Murder!

What I have found to work the best is this:

Use ninefold bolt in open areas. The secondary spiral bolts do a lot of damage. If they hit a wall, then you lose them.

Used ricochet hunter in closed areas where you can get a lot of multiple shots.

Always use magic rebalancer 4 times before engaging them.

They have two forms. Break the armor with high physical attacks, then when the armor falls off, you need a big magickal attack. First form is highly resistant to magick, while second form is highly resistant to physical damage.

I wasn't really trying all that hard to kill them here... If I'd been perfect blocking into those great cannon sigils, they would have died even faster.
