Combine that with quests that just dump gold on you... yeah, you probably won't ever run out.
Ruminator's Monocle can be sold 312 000g.
This.
Don't hesitate to do this, the monocole is not like the armors for a notable performance bump early on (levels 1-10/15 for the armors). At level 12 I sold all the DLC stuff (can't stand that jester hat anyway) as I wanted loot to be something to be a little more excited about. Hit the notice boards and load up on quests at every opportunity, and you'll have enough gold provided you're not a spendthrift. No need to dig into the console tricks of metagaming.
