Mounts

Still irked that I have to wait and pirates get to play. Damnit I want to grab it. Oh Well. Outside of that. the game world looks HUGE. Is it? Are there any boats/houses/mounts?

No there are no mounts or boats. You have a small house in the first town but you can't sleep or really interact with it.

well damn. That's fine. I am waiting for a western rpg that includes horses, boats, customizable houses, and that armed to the teeth look of characters with more than 8 armor slots (max) that make you look the same. The avatar customization in this game is tasty. I don't think there is a single game on the horizon that has all four of these. Anyway.

If you were really desperate, you could crawl on top of the ox during one of the first (and the only plot-essential) escort missions while it's moving along and pretend that's your mount.

DD is not designed for mounts, game is smaller then Skyrim, you can use teleport stones later in game.

Well i mean Black Desert Online fits all of those requirements except it wasn't developed in the west and it's an MMORPG lol

Being an MMORPG is the one reason I'm less interested in Black Desert. I want a well-crafted single player experience with all of those elements. Black Desert has too large a focus on group play and pvp, like most MMORPG's.

Just pretend your Pawn is a mount and very, very slowly walk around everywhere after dropping on their head from a cliff. Problem solved.
