If it's like Dark Arisen on PS3, you do get a couple of DLC armor pieces and a few items in storage at the start of the game, but it's not all of it by a longshot, and it's not the end-game stuff. It's stronger than the stuff you'd find at the beginning of the game normally by a fair amount, but it wouldn't reach relatively overpowered levels until you can start dragonforging stuff, and by that point you could earn it normally anyway.

Besides, in Dragon's Dogma, weapons matter way the hell more than armor, to the point where as long as your weapon is good enough for what you're fighting, you may as well play pretty princess dress-up with your clothes/armor.
True but I thought I should tell people, just as a heads up for those who have already played the game.
Makes sense to me - those are basically the bonuses you get for transferring over an Original Dragons Dogma save to Dark Arisen.

They're not 'REALLY' OP, but instead are better than starting gear, but mostly cosmetic who-body outfits. That means you lose out on a lot of body/leg/armor/clothing combos, just to equip one piece of equipment.

Closest thing to OP is the eternal ferrystone, but that doesn't offer combat bonuses, just makes quests less annoying, and you can sell ferrystones instead of hoarding them.

And it isn't a 'storage box' just the inn's storage system. Should have 7000kg worth of capacity, and be accessible at any inn.
Thanks for spoilers, OP.

Not breaking any embargo, only breaking it its for an actual review or stream. Which this is clearly not.

I'm not really thrilled about this change. It unbalances the early game item progression (making lots of things completely useless). I thought it worked well in the console Dark Arisen release, not sure why they changed it.
As I will be starting the game on Hard Mode, free DLC armor in storage will be plenty useful
I doubt it includes the stuff that was DLC for the original game and then packaged with DA. I'm willing to bet he means the DA specific DLC. The rest is probably still available for purchase at the Black Cat. If it's everything, that'd include the ancient armor set, the hero's armor set, the emmisary's armor set, a bunch of others, and a whole lot of weapons, so if those are there, please do correct me.

its almost like theres a way to show people that the items are all in the inn, maybe some button on the keyboard that says print screen, or something

You can just not grab the items out of storage if you want the more authentic starting expirience. I imagine a lot of new players are going to miss out on them from the start as well simply because if you don't know to look for them, you don't have much reason to be checking out your storage (beyond just chucking upgrade materials into it) in the early game.

Well I can't do that right now since I am completing the DLC. If you got questions then come join the chat.
