The character creator in dd2 looks esg tainted already i see some The Last of Us 2 Abby looking models in there
The "absence of co-op" is there, because it's a SINGLEPLAYER-GAME!!!!
Why don't people get that?!?
Just because there is a very innovative-companion-system, every DD(DA)-player loves and loved?
And no, if you didn't saw any videos, you can't judge the game at all!
There is nothing realy known about the plot, yet. It's just known, that you're an arisen, that there is a false one, that can command pawns, and that the Arisen has claim to the throne in the human country. A dragon is there, too.
But yes, if you want a MP-Game, there are defintily better ioptions out there, because a SINGLEPLAYER-Game ijust isn't a muliplayer-game!
You can hardly call this a single player game when the entire focus of it is building a party. Pawns are borderline exactly as the player are with the exception of hybrid vocations.
Second, no one tell these people about Dragon's Dogma Online.
Also, sounds like #2 isn't going to be a game you want to buy. Good luck with that. There are plenty of other games. No need to be that dramatic. Not sure what creates this entitlement that games must be customized to have everything each individual wants. That would be quite the accomplishment form a developer...
because hes an entitled baby
Yep. OP literally thinks this is a MH spinoff because that stupid and racist.
have clearly never actually played the game.
And no NG+ is 100% fake. If you know the story, you know why it's definitely in.
That's nonsens! You want examples? here you go:
DA-Series: Party-RPG - Single player games (Only DA: I has a rudimentary Multiplayer-Part which doesn't have the slightest influence to the main game.)
Pillars of Eterntity-Series: Party-RPG - Single player game
D&D-games (any except online versions) Party-RPG - single player games
Pathfinder-Series: Party RPG - Single player game.
We're NOT talking about Drgaons Dogma online, here, but Dragons Dogma II. I would appreciate, though if DD online would be rebooted and this time also in Europe and the westen hemisphere on basis.
Just because THIS is a Singleplayer-Game doesn't mean a new Multiplayer-Game in the DD-.universe would be bad.
DD2 is a Reboot.
Different Engine better graphics a few Similar/same places and characters and a Rewriten story with some small bits here and there still matching DD1 somewhat.
This is called a Reboot.
They are now creating the game they wanted DD1 to be originaly.
is it? You can call it "reboot" if a Film or Game in a special universe is released again, but there was a significant long time between them. But how do you consider, when a game is a "reboot" and when it is a "sequel"? (They're NOT mutual exclusive imho.)
I think the reboot is given, if the game was nearly forgotten and not played anymore. But this isn't the case for DD(DA). It's even still played A LOT. If this weren't the case, you would have real problems getting rift-crystals for pawn-renting.
The universe is the same. The Plot SEEMS somewhat similar. However: The role the dragon plays could also be a completely other one. We know just nothing about the plot, yet.
And, just because the dragon and an arisen (or even more) are there, doesn't mean, it's the same story. That is an assumption and perhaps conclusion but nothing more.
But today at 23.00 CET, there will be another anouncement of the devs for their games. Perhaps also for DD II. (like showing more of the trickster-voaction. And perhaps even of the warfarer. They'still a mystic both...) Perhaps there will be also more info about the plot. (although I somewhat doubt that.)
Edit: a ceased MMO which will official start again, I call also a reboot. (adn DD online HAS ceased.)
9/10 things listed here seem te be completly wrong just by looking at the trailers & gameplay that has been shown.
Wrong. Savan is literally in this game. It is a direct sequel.
Its a full on reboot. thats why you see some of the same characters just like the Devil may Cry reboot ( that failed ) or some other games that did this.
Demon souls is a remake
Mass effect trilogy legendary edition is a Remaster
This seems like a reboot and having some of the same characters in it just strengthens that.
