How do I make my pawns less retarded ?
Title...

It's becoming INCREDIBLY frustrating in BBI.
- Pawns jump over a chest and end up falling in the void.
- I get attacked by a mimic, pawns that are next to the chest watch me getting sucked to death (I tried spamming "help me" to no avail).
Yes, I know, you should let them open it. But when they're next to it and rotate around it like mindless pigeons I would hope they can strike that stupid mimic AT LEAST ONCE before my death.

Is there a mod for this ♥♥♥♥ ? Didn't find anything on Nexus and the redit topics are a bit old.

Got to love fighting death...
Oops, I was clumsy. Lose bunch of looot.
Yes 99% of the time I know how to not have that happen, but sooner or later it does.

All pawns are to me is a buffer + loot carrying and I use 2 archers because at least they manage to hit something, sometimes, but they even suck at that little.
Team of 4 but you are the hero doing 90% of the work.
Arisen, you fight! I will loot. Super realistic just like you are playing a MMO with gold farmers.

Somehow bethesda followers are worse, more suicidal, and love to empty entire clips into the same wall for 10 minutes, so this is kinda good.

Don't worry, I have already accepted Pawns are as dumb as bricks. I have reached enlightenment so high that I see every correction action as a grace from the logic gate gods. Eventually after enough playing all Dragon's Dogma players can reach this enlightenment.

This actually depends a lot on their inclinations. My main pawn would release me from maneaters in a microsecond, but after foolishly deciding to minmax their inclinations with elixirs, she was happy to watch me getting digested while jumping over the chest, since her guardian inclination was now set to approximately zero instead of just being somewhere neutral where it didn't do any of the bad guardian things but still let her come to my aid when I was in real big trouble.

Mine charges up an arc of deliverance which works well.

Read again....

You ask your pawn to cast it outside of combat, before openning the chest.
When you ask for help out of combat, any sorcerer in your party that has necromancy (and no affinity) will use that spell.

No inclination's behavior involved, inclinations only affect pawns behavior in combat...

Necromancy last half a minute after being cast, you open the chest during that time window and the spell will automatically attack if a maneater spawn from the chest... untill it runs out of ghostly skulls....

Can pawns be throwed? :wyes:
Can bricks be throwed? :wyes:
Can pawns deal damage? :wyes:
Can bricks deal damage? :wyes:

Pawns have to learn how to fight everything before they start to become more useful.
LOOK AT YOUR PAWNS BEASTERY. It will have every enemy rated from 0-3 stars and if your pawn has zero then it wont know what to do for that enemy.
If you can't figure out how to make pawns less retarded then who's retarded really?:VBCOOL:
