Game crashes in tutorial
Just got this game last night and am having issues where it just crashes to desktop with no error message popping up or anything like that.

My specs are

13900k
4090
64gb ddr5
Game is installed on NVME

Any ideas? This is the only game that seems to crash that I have played in recently.

Go to Microsoft's support website and install their modules for Direct X. Depending on the module it will replace anything damaged or missing.
After this restart computer.
Then I would reinstall your graphics card drivers regardless of how recently you used them.
After this restart computer again to clean up temporary files.
See if your game will run ok. If not we can continue to try some things.

check windows event viewer and also windows reliability history. might be an error msg in those.

run the game from the steam game folder and not from your library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears like missing library or your antivirus.

What's your monitor's refresh rate? I think anything above 60Hz could cause such sudden quits for this game. Try to set the refresh rate and vertical sync on at 60 fps.

I read in another thread that a developer commented that some people are running beta versions of windows for advance releases and during those betas they often fool around with support files that cause some games to freeze.
