I keep getting arrested at night
Ser Kestril always finds me at night and arrests me in Grand Sorren. I think it was because I robbed the king's bank one time... is this a known issue? I don't get it.

You could say it's a known Issue. If you are inside the Gate where the Duke lives then being inside the courtyard at night is against the law.

Last time I was arrested outside town. But now that I think of it... it was in that quest where you need to find the Salvation meeting under the bridge. I think it bugged for me because the two dudes just standed there and I had to punch one of them for something to happen... right after the conversation with the salvation guy I got arrested. Maybe it was because I punched someone? Even if they were 'bad guys'... idk

If you commit a crime (like punching an NPC, accidently hitting an NPC while fighting a baddie or stealing something, you can be arrested the moment a guard sees you. Picking the lock to get out of jail or bribing a guard to avoid arrest will not prevent you from being re-arrested for your original crime later. It's best to simply pay the fine or curb your nefarious impulses.

Wait so if I pick the lock it means I haven't "paid my crime"? The only way to clear your record is to bribe the guard? That might be it then... I killed the guard previously so I've just been picking the lock.
