What do in "post-game"?
Hello,

I'm not sure what should I do, now that I'm in post-game. I'm lost.
I heard I need to be level 80 to clear BBI.
I'm only level 45 or so.

I did a bit of "Everfall" but I feel it's a boring area that is very badly level-designed.
I think it'll take me up to 10 hours or so to get level 80 in this area; it's a very long farming session that I don't think I'll enjoy.

I heard about NG+ but I'm not sure if XP is scaling up in NG+.

Please give me some advices on how to play after beating Dragon's Dogma.

45-50 can go to BBI.

From my experience level does not matter much what you really need are equipments and augments.

NG+ does nothing at all just start the new game with same level of enemy,They are not scale with your level.

The person who told you that is full of crap, you can easily do BBI from a brand new game if you know what you're doing.

You should be able to advance in BBI at level 45, but some of the random encounters will give you a strong challenge, and might even be impossible to deal with (Elder Ogre). If you can deal with post-game mobs and any of the challenge rooms in Everfall with little trouble, you're pretty much ready to start BBI.

NG+ is basically NG with all your loot and levels carrying over, with no changes to XP gains unless you increase the difficulty from the start. You'll have to switch to Hard mode for the most XP gain, which you can do at the start of NG+.

In NG+, you can easily get to BBI and do Ur Dragon without having to reach the post-game, which is pretty much everything to do in Dragon's Dogma after clearing the game.

I literally did BBI from level 1 to 200, then went back and played the story.

tehnically speaking. you haven't beaten the game yet.

when you do.. you will not be able to continue without starting over in NG+ from the LOAD option.

youll keep all of your stuff, but some merchants will have more stuff and some quests will appear that didn't before.. and the end of the game will be slightly different...

Start NG+ on Hard Mode and definitely travel to Bitterblack Island as soon as you feel you are up to the challenge, it's the real endgame of Dragon's Dogma.

You will get way more exp and money on hard mode, I don't know if NG+ scales exp.

NG+ doesn't change xo rewards, but hard mode doubles xp.

If you want to level up quick though, kill the offline Ur Dragon in Everfall. At lvl 90 I'm getting 4 levels with each kill (using the Veteran's Preapt).

Thanks guys. Really interesting.

I started BBI at lvl 30 or something. It's tricky, but you can do it if you know what to expect. I did rushed and avoid many encounters until I got BBI weapons and armor and the materials to upgrade it. As for dragonforging them, the Cursed Dragon was a problem for my badly equipped Arisen and Pawn, so I used the lesser drake in devil something. Now they are quite strong and can solo most of the BBI alone at lvl 59 without too much issue. Both my Arisen and Pawn are sorcerers.

Take enough throwblasts and you can start BBI at any level :feste:

throwblasts - the most boring thing out there honestly...

What is the trick to killing the UR dragon. I made a few attempts but keeps oneshotting me with the aoe magic and I can't deal any damage at all.

Nice necro,

Offine Ur is really meant for level 60-70 characters. Weak to Holy and just whack at it until all the hearts are dead.

For the online Ur, you are not going to see damage because the HP pool is around 3 billion. The only thing that really shows damage are Maker's Fingers as they will destroy one of the 30 hearts. However it does take more than 30 Maker's Fingers to kill the Online Ur because of multiple copies and syncing.
