There are no words for how much I hate Elder Ogres.
Why oh why must they always spawn in narrow ass corridors? :csdmad:

Zap them, or nap them, or run to a not-so-narrow-corridor.

Topor will be your best friend, this thing is insane.

Try to, don't have the ability to, and not so easy with semi-retarded pawns.

Did you know that after an Ogre does a dropkick, if you grab onto it, it will be pinned to the floor for a time depending on your weight?

I learnt that from a pawn after years of playing this game.

All the ways to inflict it are equally effective.
Lassitude, Utilitarian pawn with Lassitude.
3*+ Rusted Weapon, any pawn with 3*+ Rusted Weapon

♥♥♥♥ pawns shouldn't stop you from backing up. Are you in the Rotwood Depository? That's the only place I can imagine where an Elder Ogre would be annoying. Other than that just run, do you have to kill him?

Enhanced/Rarified rusted weapons (give them to your pawn) or the sorcerer spell Lassitude.

There are no stupid pawns, only stupid Arisen ☺

Anyone who thinks pawns are stupid hasn't built their pawn well, is hiring the wrong pawns, or both.

Aye. It spawned there (actually had two spawn there seperately as I progressed). Killed the first one, with much difficulty and then got royally pissed off when a second spawned.

No, as it is they can steal the fun out of some fights. It's pretty much just BBI where I've had trouble with them being suicidal.

It depends on your class. As assassin, tempest harness, periapts, liquid vim, invis and kisses to the head, things melt down pretty fast.

As Sorcerer high/grand fulmination ♥♥♥♥♥ on ET, unless you've been leveling strength for 100 levels and are using an unupgraded rusted archistaff. Or, just keep running away from agro range while spamming lighting enhanced focus botls.

You can pretty much manfight them with a properly built warrior/fighter.

Canon + furor for mystic knight.

Ninefold bolt, immolation, ricochet hunter, on MA.

Striders with brain splitter/soaring kick/Instant reset/eminence also destroy EO pretty fast.

Mage : grand levin, ez pz.

If still struggling, get 3 sorcerer pawns all with high fulmination and a level 2 knowledge of EO, they'll sync cast it and obliterate the EO in less than 5 seconds, not exaggerating.

There is also an assassin skill, Blunting Arrow (upgrades to Plegic Arrow) that causes Torpor. I usually keep it as my third skill just for ogres.

a) get good pawns (not just bestiary...there are more triggers to behaviour..so this needs alot of try and error..but it`s worth it)
and you can afk-watch em steam-roll that Oger on their own
b) topor (rusted forged weapons, spells, some-topor-inflicting high hit skills, arrows)
c) water, ice, thunder are very very good elements (not just fire/holy) for way more enemies than you might imagine (Ogers included)
d) Mystic Knight or Fighter and perfect blocks
