anyway enchant your own weapon

is there any way to enchant my own staff with holy magic , it seems like it always outo locks on nearby pawn and there is no self cast button.

Pressing the left stick will target you. Not sure on keyboard controls since game was designed around game controllers.

If you're playing with a controller, it's done by pressing the left stick button. This also unlocks lock-on targeting for spells and allows you to freely place spell sigil to manually target.

No idea what it is on the keyboard.

Shift by default I believe.

At least it is for me, shift, the run key.

It toggles, so no need to hold it or anything.

nope doesnt work , still targets pawns .

Guess your game is glitched then, because everywhere I've seen it talked about: Shift; run key.

Also for good measure:

*switches to sorcerer*

*Buffs self with holy, pressing shift key after charging*

Yep, can confirm.


Hope you figure it out tho, else you are stuck being non-buffed for eternity.

yeah it worked when i got to town, didnt seem to work with gazer boss.

I didn't know about the left stick thing, I got around it by looking into the sky.

I had kept reading about enchanting self and I admit, I didn't look too deeply into it trying to avoid wikis and such. It wasn't until level 105 that I accidentally stumbled across it and oh boy, what a game changer and I believe it will greatly increase the quality of life for you Paladin. Enjoy!
