How do i know which are the main quests?
So, this game makes it pretty clear early on that progressing too much will make secondary quests unavailable or outright fail them.

So yeah, any way to know? like an icon or something?

Ok, so i noticed that some of them have "Objective" rather than "Goal" on them

Is that the difference?

If you have reached the Capital Gran Soran

The main quests are mainly received from the Kings Right Hand Man

Or received From the castle area of Gran Soran

If you are in Gran Soran and go to the castle you will find a man standing outside the castle gates with a gren Question Mark above him. Do two of his quests and he will allow you into the castle. Where you will receive the main quests of the game from the duke himself

No, Objective is in the description of all actual quests, and Goal in notice board chores.

It's not hard to tell main and secondary objective apart. Everything that ties to the Dragon, duke or Pawns is the main quest.

At the start the game gives you gentle hints, like unexplained marker (btw, don't follow the purple marker) or NPC insisting on leaving the village. And all main quests since Gran Soren get a sub-title, like Wyrm Hunt Quest or Royal Orders Quest.
There's like one fragment of the game where you have to progress one specific secondary quest to progress main quest line (it's complicated).

Anyway, for ppl who have issues spotting the main quest line there is Chronicle in the Pause Menu that serves as the summary of the main quest line.

So what feels like "important" is essentially the main quests?

Really? I didnt get that at all. I guess I should go back and do some of the quests in the first town.

Also, progressing main quests can disable/cancel side quests.
E.g. the quest where you have to find Quina when she is missing will be canceled once you help the pawn guild in Gran Soran, which will also lock you out from some follow up quests as well as their unique rewards.
