Freezing, Crashing, Black Screen
Playing the game and going down the rotunda for the main quest Lure of The Abyss and as I get to the last section and especially at the very bottom with the cut scene the game locks up and freezes the screen, goes black, and then sometimes comes back and slide shows for me or just crashes the game.

I have tried everything that I could find online. Vsync off and on. Frame rate limiting. Full and windowed screen. Verify integrity. Reinstall drivers with DDU. No additional settings on in Adrenalin. I am not sure what else I can do to fix this issue. I am running a 7900 XTX on the latest drivers (23.9.3).

Has anyone had any issues with this section or this type of issue in general? I assume it is a driver level issue and I may be screwed until a new driver drops. If anyone has any other tips I will happily give it a go.

1. Verify game files' integrity, reinstall DirectX 9 and Ms Visual C++ 2010, disable any enhancement your GPU control application may or may not be applying to the game.

2. If the issue is caused by you simply having brand new GPU (as it is common with AMD GPUs) you could try DXVK

to run on rdna3 or 4 you need an enb and DXVK as neither support dx9L emulation

Thank you both for the information. I will give it a try tomorrow to see if I can get it up and running with this fix.

read the enb instructions several times as the caveat section is a big deal, especially for rdna users.
