Nothing official yet, but all contextual signs point at Q2 2024, aka spring, aka between April and July 2024.

- Capcom did announce to their shareholders that they had "something big" planned for Summer 2024: unlikely to be Dragon's Dogma 2 release, will surely be tied to Monster Hunter's 20th year anniversary.

- Capcom revealed they had an unannounced game ( not Dragon's Dogma 2 ) to be released around March 2024 that will "sell millions" ( Press X to doubt ).

- Dragon's Dogma 2 had a playable demo during Tokyo Game Show 2023, and most games usually release three to twelve months after their first hands-on playable demo.

- Dragon's Dogma 1 was announced at a Capcom event in April 2011, with an on-site playable demo.
Game was released a year later, May 2012.

- Devil May Cry's team is the one currently developing Dragon's Dogma 2.

- DMC 5 released in 2019, and had a Special Edition in November 2020.
This likely means that development for Dragon's Dogma 2 started in Q1 2021.

- Dragon's Dogma 1 had a production cycle of 3 years.


So it seems it will drop between Capcom's "unannounced game that will totally sell millions to be released in Q1 2024", and their "something big for Q3 2024".

By Q2 2024, Dragon's Dogma 2 will have roughly 3 years of dev time, and a "reveal trailer -> playable on-site demo -> release" timing similar to Dragon's Dogma 1.

If the game gets delayed because of some internal issues, it will likely be pushed to Autumn 2024, Q4.

Dmc team could have been splitted after main version of dmc5 got released

So, i think they said late 2023, and i would look how much delays capcom had in the past years, if not much then there are high chances we will se it somewhere this year, otherwise, next one
