BTW Are you using the pad directly or run it through some external application like Inputmapper? Or maybe it requires setting some options under Steam?
i tried both , i tried ds4 to register as a xbox controller, i tried going big window mode and into the game, but the game doesnt register my button prompts correctly and is saying 1-9 instead, a light attack is a heavy attack and heavy attack is heavy attack,
I also read that there's a mod on Nexus that addresses labeling issue.

i know there is a mod that gives me playstation prompts, i tried installing it but it doesnt seem to work, and even with the prompts on it still doesnt register the button input correctly as it should be
make sure to enable playstation support for dragons dogma in steam
