draws a lot of ideas from DDO (read: ruins good old ideas), expands on wasteful interactions just like DDO and even has offline Arisen parties (from what I've read). I really doubt Capcom will invest in DDO sequel anytime soon.
Well maybe, they were foolish to not bring the game over here and try at least rather then shut it down I'm happy either way cause DDO is coming back and DD2 will be amazing.
Nobody at Capcom is going to want to fund another MMO after closing DDO servers. There's a lot of competition in the MMO market, and costs are very high to develop and maintain. They had their chance with DDO, I don't think they'll try again.
Yeah yeah I get all that but MMO's that do ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over there often do well here.
But I guess we'll never know. I still think it would have done well here I enjoyed it a lot and was playing it daily. I will be playing it again soon as all the server functions start to work again.
Am looking forward to DD2 it's probably still a while away but it'll be worth the wait.
