So, i got Votary's Robe and...
Its definitely the best armor i can give to my pawn (a mage) but... jesus christ this thing is ugly.

She already has fairly high HP due to starting has a fighter, (hell she has more hp than me) so do i really need this for her? cause since she isnt melee, she wont be taking THAT much dmg, specially with a tank on the team.

I never dress for stats, pure fashion choice
(Ultimately rarefying some what equlize stats of equipment bbi stuf still will be stronger by a bit + smk of property on a specific armor pieces, but other that that, pretty close)

i agree with kapacb, go for fashion rather than stats. those 50 more in def arent gonna safe your pawn from getting downed when he gets hit by a gorecyclops while already on half health anyways. just keep an eye on your pawns overall deibilitation resistances, them getting petrified on top of all the ways they can get themselfs killed isnt really fun. same for possession, all of which can also be compensated by rings providing those resistances, so you dont have to force yourself to use specific armor pieces either. everything else is just a nice bonus really. also keep in mind, while this is just an asumption on my part since thats the way i do it, but most people are probably more likely to hire your pawn when he/she looks cool rather than has the best possible stats.

Love to see this community is like the Souls ones, fashion over everything.

Only thing you really need to watch is your attack/magic stat (so always equip the best possible weapon). But for armor just go for fashion. It's really not that big of a deal.
