What are some great mods that won't affect multiplayer aspects?
Basically nothing that changes pawns.

Dinput
Allows for borderless window mod and bind for a quicksave (allows you to save scam game)(its not like you can quick scam without it, but rather makes saving more conviniet, instead of using esc+i or esc-save menu)
And other stuff, but two above are for "better quality life"

I mean I do but can't you just say a few mods here? That way other people looking to spice up their game can have a look at this thread too.

Fair enough, I usually talk on discord and give a pretty thorough explanation of everything I know, but I can give a few Recommendations. I'll try not to make this message too long haha.

First of all, what someone else said earlier is true. Usually, all mods are typically safe except for ones that will do impossible things for pawns. To keep them from getting "banned", just don't give them stats that are normally impossible to achieve, and don't give them equipment or Augments they can't normally equip. Even then, you never really get full on banned, if you mess up your pawn, all you have to do is remove the impossible things and sleep at an inn to update them, and they will return to normal in the Rift.

Now, great mods are subjective depending on what exactly you're looking for. I've made a few mods myself but can only recommend a couple of them. Lots of people like mine anyway, but they aren't done yet.

For visual mods, a great one is "Don't Blind Me" if the lantern glow and Magick Effects are a but too bright for you. Another that I tried recently that is actually pretty nice is the Vignette Remover. The Gransys Texture Improvement Project (GTIP) is okay but unfinished (like my own project) and also improperly packs textures in some places, leaving them with a pink and green checkered pattern, as well as making the Dragon's fire breath appear in large squares. My skin textures are unfinished but half decent if you wanted to check them out. Both are included in my most popular mod "Cleaner Female Body Texture" They do an alright job of cleaning things up but I still have plenty of work to do. If you want an ENB, an older one I really like is Rudy ENB, but when downloading the assets from the ENB dev site, you'll want to make sure that for any ENB you use, you grab the version the ENB was made with. Rudy for instance was made with v0.300. Another great one is Wickfut ENB, but it's no longer on Nexus, you'll want to grab it from Wickfut's Steam page. I'll leave a link to it on this post. One of my mods that I can recommend, and one that should get updated soon, is called "LDK's Armory". I found a bunch of better normal maps for Player equipment, so you get a nice, faithful to vanilla boost to resolution for over 400 pieces of equipment. DDDA 2k Megahair is also pretty nice.

For gameplay related mods, one of my personal favorites is Greatsword MAX, specifically version 5.0, it really changes Longsword combat up and I love it. Dinput is required for all of its functions to work, and this tool offers a lot of great QoL upgrades and just has a lot of cool features in general. There are 2 small problems with dinput though, one being that under very specific circumstances, using it can make the game crash. The circumstances I've run into that can cause a crash with it are having the in game menu for it open when talking to shopkeepers, and if you're using the mod "World Difficulty". The 2nd problem is that at the very end of the game during that section where you're free falling, it can cause the camera to freak out. I just gently tilt my right control stick forward to solve this. A small gameplay mod I made is called "A Fortress Besieged Improved Boss Fight", it swaps out the Hobgoblin Chieftain boss with a Greater Goblin from Bitterblack Isle, making it feel a little more like a miniboss than the original fight did. I also have a mod that restores the Berserk Equipment from the original console versions of the game. It's a bit hard to install though so please feel free to ask for help.

This message is already pretty long, so if people want more I can talk about more, but I'll leave it at this for now haha. Here's a link to Wickfut's ENB: https://archive.org/details/wickfut-enb-dragons-dogma-v-476

Much appreciated. The berserk armor mod restore was actually one of the first I was thinking on getting. Kind of a bummer that capcom had to remove it due to licensing issues but makes sense, they couldn't keep the license.

Its a dinput issue and most likely caused by allowing wider vertical camera angels. (or at least thats hiw i think it is, cause i never considered it to be such a big problem to turn correlated dinput feature off)

Oh yeah, I know it's dinput, but after re-reading my message I see I forgot to clarify that, thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix it now.

No, i meant that of all things that dinput allows you to do, that part is insignificant
And i clarified that issue just in case it annoys you too much and you wish to solve it

Anyway, nice list you got there, although i disagree on visual improvments, cause in my opinion they are ruining visual integrity

The only mod DDDA actually need is additional or modded existing npc, that can sell you all armour pieces(maybe except for bbi), cause personaly i was never really bothered to try to collect every equipment possible, but its kinda interesting to see full list of options, cause otherwise you are limited in term of fashion))

Ps saddest thing game has black cat, who solds wierd stuff, shame they didnt make that he doesnt sell everything by heavily inflated prices on hard mode or ng+(again except to bbi, to maintain exclusivity amongst pawns, although i never necessarily choose by equipment but rather on weapons, skills and overall looks)

The only mods that I bothered with was some color mods for changing clothing color a bit.
