Pawns and Leveling
I keep constantly out leveling every Pawn I get from the Rift. Is that by design? I can put on 2 levels b4 they add 1 level to themselves. Then I go back to Rift Stone and get 2 more that r my Lvl. Is there no way to keep the ones I have... and have them lv up with me, like my primary does?

I don't think pawns level with you. If they level up it must be because the owner leveled up

Only pawns from your level range appear but you can search for higher level pawns in the rift

Only your own pawn levels up.

Only your Pawn levels with you.

Rented Pawns will stay the same level you picked them up at.
Only the player who owns those pawns can level them up and "update" them at the Rift Stone.

@ a Rift Stone, am I renting them or buying them or just borrowing them or do I own them ?cuz they do level up with me...just not as fast as I.

You are renting them. You technically pay them nothing if they're at your level or lower when you first rented them, but in return their owners will get Rift Credits (RC), which is endgame currency for mostly BBI (Bitterblack Isle) gear.

As for the reason why they're leveling up, it is because every time you rest at an inn, you upload your pawn's details onto the server. Anyone who rents your pawn after that upload will use your pawn with those updated details. As for why they're leveling slower than you; their owners don't play as much as you, it's that simple.

Their pawns do get some bonuses for working with you as well (and your pawn too). Any battle experience against different enemy types will be shared during your time with them. Meaning if your rented pawns have immense bestiary knowledge, your main pawn will learn from that. And if you and all your pawns are fighting enemies unknown to you up to this point, upon gaining bestiary knowledge the rented pawns will get that knowledge and bring it back to their owners. It is a win-win situation.

You have hired a None players pawn NPC and they do level , but will return to what level they was when you hired them, after they return. its best to take them off your fave list after a few levels , as they dont stay leveled.

What you are saying doesnt make any sense..
Maybe im out of touch, but there are a main pawn (which is leveling up) and hired pawns (offline or online, doesnt matter, they dont leveling up)
The whole system built the way, so we are actively hire other pawns

How do I make my pawn available to others?

All pawns are always available. They can appear randomly to others or can search in the rift

i think your right actually, (its been a while) I think i meant they learn, they gather skills on enemy and how to kill them , if you check their knowledge it changes as you take them further . but it resets when you hire them again if thy die or you let them go.

So, when I am offline....some1 maybe using my pawn?
Menjembeng Aug 30, 2023 @ 9:32pm
yes even if you are playing, someone can hire your pawn. friend list pawn will summoned first, then others pawn that in the same lvl range with you.

By playing in online mode. This way you will be sending/updating your Pawn data to the server each time you rest (with Main Pawn alive). Resting also allows you receive rent and gifts from players hiring your Main Pawn.
The default settings (in Options) make Main Pawn available for all players.

If you've been playing offline the whole time then your Pawn is not in the Rift and no one can hire it.

Yes, it's by design.
