Decent magick archer bow?

Been trying to get the blackwing bow and honestly I give up at this point for now, is there another alternative that still does good damage? I bought one from Caxton but it really isn't helping.

when you're purifying, the vocations you and your pawns are using determines what you get:

yellow (strider, ranger, magick archer)
red (fighter, warrior, assassin)
blue (mage, sorcerer, mystic knight)

if you want the magick bow, change your vocation and your pawn's vocation to a yellow vocation. then it is just a matter of time as what you get purifying is predetermined when you start a new game.

if you can't be bothered, then the easiest is to get herald's helix from caxton in post game. or if you're not in post game, get the militant dove from the black cat.

yeah i knew part of that except that my pawn being a yellow vocation also worked. i just assumed it didnt matter since your pawn cant be turned into a magick archer.

The Blackwing Bow has a 20% chance of appearing, so I don't think it's that difficult.

The best MagicBow you can buy outside of BBI is Dragon's Quickening.
