Also if you want help you can add me and use my my pawn for free she is lvl 200 sorcerer inclinations are Challenger/Mitigator and is Full damage dealer
Though - I actually play both ways as, if you re-map the controls slightly it is also relatively simplistic on the KB as well. Like - I mapped my two skill buttons to my mouse's side "forward" and "back" buttons, so everything combat besides grabbing enemies can be done with just the mouse. "F" though is grab and sometimes you might accidentally press "D" instead until you get used to it. I also changed the Inventory button from "I" to "Tab" as it makes so much more sense.
Also - may just be me; but when connecting/disconnecting (if it dies) a controller mid-gameplay is a PitA as it freezes the game for like 3 min (but it does always come-back/has not crashed doing so). So I gotta give them some credit on the port being not paper fragile
Hhhhmmm I'm just a bit reculant to try out my new controller, it's my second one and a new model. I'm always a bit to careful with it at first.
Soooo I still have the old one, where the A button has a problem, any action I could simply change to A, that I don't need to often?
That's all I can think of for now.
Also aiming with a bow or manually aiming spells is easier with a mouse fps style.
Then macros.... never had to hold a button to activate a skill, on my 12 buttons mouse every skill is a simple click, even shaking off from a grab or re-lighting my lantern on after a drench.
Thank you, but that sounds like more gimmicky stuff than I would like on a mouse, so I have something between ergonomic and gaming.
DD is one of them imo.
Menus with a huge amount of selections though (just black cat courier when duplicating really) can be a bit of a chore to go through via S/"Down" (but ironically none more than using the controller in these menus).
I kinda liked some designs, but in the end it probably someone starts with a ton of bugs and a lot of angry players.
Playing with KB+M here. My char started as a Mage -> Strider -> Mystic Knight -> Fighter -> Sorceror -> Mystic Knight.
It's very viable.
Expect to spam the 'I' key alot though(inventory management is tedious as hell)
