Nameless Terror. I need help.

I am trying to get the hero achievement and I am currently stuck on this quest. I have completed every other side-quest up until this point and I cannot progress anymore until I do this one quest.

I did the quests like the guide said, starting at Grand Soren and working my way towards Cassardis. I was able to encounter the first 4 ambushes, but the one at Cassardis never happened.

I read online that if you go to the right areas during the day it will give you a red circle quest marker on the map, but I went through every area again during the day and no red markers appeared. I have been through everything 4 times over just to be sure that I didn't miss anything. I also read online that after you do the first 4 encounters, that the quest will update with info, but that also did not happen.

If there is no fix for this then I guess I am done with the game. I wanted to 100% this while I have the free time and boredom, but If I can't get this one achievement because of a bug then I may as well quit here.

*edit - When I click on show map location for this quest, it goes to Aernst Castle for some reason.

Cassardis happens at night/right before dawn.

you can only encounter them at night. one point by the bridge north of the north exit from gran soren

then by the entrance to the quarry
then just travel the path back to cassardis from gran soren and you will eventually encounter the rest.

the last guy is by the gate to cassardis.

I am all good now, got the last assassin to finally spawn.
