Any way to get items from your pawn?

No way. Just do not interfere with him, let him gain as much goodness as he can, and then, perhaps, a little piece will fall to you. And don't take other pawns into team, otherwise they won't leave you anything at all.

What are the right questions! Unfortunately, we have all been asking them for a long time.

Man, open inventory (look at button in settings), select character in inventory, select item in his inventory, press (either left or right) mouse button, select option from drop-down mini-menu to transfer to another character, and item will be transferred. I write this so that you do not run to refund, and then you will say, it was my fault.

I got rid of Rook. I found some nice FREE pawns to use which one of them is a lvl 159 warrior

All pawns belonging to people on your friends list can be rented for free. In order to find those pawns you have to be in the "on line" mode of play and rest at an Inn or a bench (found in BBI) while doing doing so before you enter the rift. You also have to be in the online mode when you rest at an Inn or on a bench in BBI in order to receive gifts that other players have given your pawn after they've rented and released it (not to mention receive the RCs your pawn earned while being rented).

While in the off line mode all pawns can be rented for free BUT a large number of them have the Scather/Guardian combo for inclinations (which is no doubt the worst combo possible for a pawn to have in this game).

You can still have upgrades, unless Pawn used said items. Also you can combine items with items from your Pawn/s inventory.
