Pls save me from pain
I put in 20+ hours into Everfall and still can't seem to get the RNG Gods to drop me Nebula Cape :steamsalty: So I turn to DD Gods for help. I'd greatly appreciate if you hire my Strider and equip the cape on her.

In return I can hire your pawn and marathon through BB for LvL3 weapons and RC. Tnx

(Just send me a friend request, or alternatively, put LvL 200 and filter out the search for Female Strider, her name is Shiva)

Poor thing. You are searching in the wrong place. BBI has the chest with Nebula. And it's an astonishing 25% drop chance.
Im Post Daimon in BBI so drops are poopy

2 drops in EF, one in BBI is only predaimon and the DR is 12%

I'm relatively new to the game. Can someone please explain what makes the Nebula Cape desirable? From what I see on the wiki, it looks like it has element and possession resistance. I'm guessing that would make it good for a pawn? Is that it, or is it something else?

I don't know about the others, I purely use it for fashion. It's essentially monomi neck wrap but without the tail.

(Stat wise, full BBI gear already has high resistance for possession so my pawn is relatively safe from dragons)

Thank you for your response. You seemed really keen on the piece so I was wondering if there was something more to it, but I've seen on reddit and elsewhere that many people like to have cloaks that fit better for fashion than for stats. I only recently started BBI and Everall (I go back and forth), and I'm not really in a position to put fashion over stats yet.

No problem. What vocation are you btw? Also if you feel your pawn is lacking then this is the link to Nihil's channel, he dissects DDDA to molecular level, so you can enjoy your playthrough.

I'm playing as a sorcerer, with a main pawn of strider. We're level 121. I started post game around level 80. I've only played offline.

For context:

I've completed the main game and almost all the quests and board quests; I defeated The Dragon; I've completed every chamber in Everfall; I've defeated the offline Ur Dragon, but with great difficulty and several rests/attempts; I've fought my way to Daimon but have not defeated him yet (intentionally). This was all on Normal Mode. I'm postponing NG+ until I'm satisfied with my performance against Daimon.

I run from Death. I've killed Garms, but they're problematic. I've defeated the Imprisoned Gorecyclops, but with great difficulty. I'm trying to use the Imprisoned Gorecyclops as a gauge of my abilities. Dragonkin, griffins, and cockatrices give me little trouble, though cockatrices give me more trouble due to petrification. The Dark Bishop was absolute hell, but I killed him; his dragon was easy.

All of my gear is DF'ed. My pawn has everything DF'ed except for the weapons as I don't have the money. I did DF some rusted weapons for us. No gear has been rarefied. I don't want to spend resources on rarefying until I am happy with the gear I've acquired, but DF'ing gives me some extra oomph.

Also, thank you for posting the video. I'll watch it in full at some point soon.

This post was a bit longer than I anticipated.

I got this game a few weeks ago, I think it was, but I already have over 200 hours in it. It has been such incredible fun! I wish I discovered this game years ago.

I've actively tried to avoid Holy Focused bolt. I keep reading about how it's basically an "I win" button, and that's not how I want to play. Having said that, I do make use of it from time to time.

Depending on what I am fighting I make a lot of use of Comestion, High/Grand Levin, High/Grand Frigor, and High Miasma, and I just tend to keep High Maelstrom and High Voidspell at the ready. I've found that rusted weapons work well for me for torpor; I have a rusted archistaff and my main pawn has a rusted bow and rusted dagger.

I am not unwilling to listen to others so if you think I am doing it wrong, let me know. I'm all for taking in advice, but I also try to find what works best for me.
