BTW Only 48+? Purify 100 items, 150 or more. And be sure you are purifying as a pure blue Vocation, Arisen and the Main Pawn, else you arewasting your time on useless stuff from red list.
Or just smash his face in.
So Hallowed Invocation wouldn't make much of a difference in terms of Great Cannon damage?
Consider the best case scenario*, which is not your case I presume:
- you are a level 200 MK, that has grown as a Mage between level 1 and 10, and a Sorcerer till 200, so you end with 866 MAG
- equipped with gold rerefied Magebreaker with MAG of 716
- equipping Attunement, Acuity and Autonomy Augments multiplies those values to 1372 and 1134 respectrively (also Autonomy boosts weapon STR to 1243)
- Hallowed Invocation adds 672x0,4 = 269 to the weapon MAG. 1560 MAG*
With Great Cannon you get:
39 MAG + 0,5x1243 STR + 1,5x1372 MAG + 0,5x1560 MAG which gives
621 STR and 2877 MAG
OK, that's some nice damage. You're a squishy caster but can hit hard.
* not counting the risky Augment Equaniminty and bonus enhancement from Lv.3 helmet that boost MAG as well
** I'm not sure if MAG from enchantments is affected by Augments but hell, it's the best case scenario, right? ;)
Now let's see [probably] your case scenario:
- at level 200, and after initial 10 levels as Mage your 10-200 MK has 486 MAG
- gold rarefied Magebreaker still has 716 MAG
- you probably can obtain two MAG boosting augments but I bet you didn't, which is understandable as it's pain.
- Hallowed Invocation adds 269 to the weapon MAG. 985 MAG
With Great Cannon you get:
39 MAG+ 0,5x1036 STR + 1,5x486 MAG + 0,5x985 MAG which is
518 STR again and 1260 MAG
A bare minimum, without taking into account armor values of Damien's body.
With Blessed Trance, that adds 207 MAG to weapon MAG, the numbers are:
518 STR and 1229 MAG
30 MAG difference between Invocation and Trance
Seems the main thing I need is a frequent supply of magic resistance + stamina restoration and liquid vims somehow. Auspicious incenses for keeping pawns alive.
Welp conveniently there's all kinds of goodies in Daimon's hall. Rather ironically the first three floors of BBI have all kinds of crap laying around, as do all three boss chambers. Do enough and you'll be swimming in restorative.
