Felt like replaying the game.
Got the "Great mod compilation. No game-breaking" off of nexus.

Are there any other mods people would recommend to enhance the experience?

no. It's made for all of Dante's textures, especially the skin texture, also don't blind me - medium.
Default game skins will look blotchy. Lamps and flames will bloom out without Don't Blind Me.

You need the skin texture. I made the enb for that skin texture. The default skin will look very very bad with the ENB with blotches which glow. If you could only use one texture mod then it would have to be that skin texture.

It's awesome of you to help out, I'm grateful.

Alas, when it comes to modding and merging stuff with the game_main.arc file, It seems a bit too much of a hassle for me to get into.

The mod compilation saves me from that, and includes the Don't Blind Me, however, it instead includes these 2 skin textures:
