My main damage dealing to the cursed dragon was to take my sword and used Dire Goug (Assassin on the head/heart but when things seemed too dangerious i just used the daggers to carve it up, jump off, and roll under it's attacks (as well as block and catch with masterful kill). So long as you use these daggers on the heart with Hundred Kisses you should do decent damage. It'll still be a long fight but with the propor pawns, team work, skill, and these daggers, you should be able to win.
Can't say the same for that sword since it is about half the strength of the strongest sword, Devilsbane. Plus I don't use swords, Ranger, so besides what Blanc said about jumping on the dragon and going crazy with dire gouge I got nothing.
I have to wonder why no bow I mean granted Striders and Assassins are ♥♥♥♥ compared to Rangers and Magic Archers when it comes to bows but there is more to a weapon than just damage. Creating opening is one of their utilites. Dragon flying in the air? Knock it out of the sky with a flurry of arrows.
My advice go farm the drake that spawns near the Shadow Fort. Keep killing that loser til all your gear is dragon forged, red cross symbol. Then go back to BBI and start upgrading past that to as high as you can using shiny gold dagger dude. Also find a Sorcerer pawn, or use your own, and make sure they know High Gicel as it has a habit of knocking enemies on their butt especially dragons.
