Not doing any damage to cursed dragons
BBI has been difficult, but not impossible for me up until the very first cursed dragon fight. I'm a little underleveled for BBI (level 85), but my strength is over a thousand. The weapons I'm using are the best I currently have, Dragon's Vein and Carnation. Despite this, I am doing literally no damage to the cursed dragon. The only damage that's being done at all is by my Sorcerer pawn. What kind of stats do I need to break the absurd defense threshold?

You must listen to your pawns, aim for the heart.

That's what I am doing. Even then, the damage I'm doing is either nonexistant or so small I cannot notice the health bar going down.

Gold rarefied Heaven's key or Ascalon might work better, with Acuity augment equipped. Cursed dragons have very high defenses, but they are weak to holy. Sorcerers or even mages with holy focused bolts and magick archers with rebalancer skill have no problems killing this dragon, when melee players have to use strength boosters and blast arrows.

What is your arisen and pawn vocation? As Blanc mentioned, the Heaven's Key Daggers are able to do some damage on the cursed dragon's heart. The head is also a target but I tend to get grabed or smacked off easily there *unless in the perfect spot near the horns*. I'm about to reset my game and have a set of dragon foarged heaven's key daggers I could give you. They helped me down my first cursed dragon (along with a bbi sword).

My main damage dealing to the cursed dragon was to take my sword and used Dire Goug (Assassin on the head/heart but when things seemed too dangerious i just used the daggers to carve it up, jump off, and roll under it's attacks (as well as block and catch with masterful kill). So long as you use these daggers on the heart with Hundred Kisses you should do decent damage. It'll still be a long fight but with the propor pawns, team work, skill, and these daggers, you should be able to win.

Going to guess you are an assassin judging by you using a sword and daggers. Well one problem I might guess is you aren't using gold rariefied weapons. I mean the Dragon's Vein aren't exactly the strongest daggers in the game, Framae Blades gets that honor, but at gold rariefied you shouldn't be having much of a problem dealing damage. Other than that just thousand kiss the hell out of that glowing spot. If feeling brave just jump on him get on that glowing spot and thousand kiss til he is dead.

Can't say the same for that sword since it is about half the strength of the strongest sword, Devilsbane. Plus I don't use swords, Ranger, so besides what Blanc said about jumping on the dragon and going crazy with dire gouge I got nothing.

I have to wonder why no bow I mean granted Striders and Assassins are ♥♥♥♥ compared to Rangers and Magic Archers when it comes to bows but there is more to a weapon than just damage. Creating opening is one of their utilites. Dragon flying in the air? Knock it out of the sky with a flurry of arrows.

My advice go farm the drake that spawns near the Shadow Fort. Keep killing that loser til all your gear is dragon forged, red cross symbol. Then go back to BBI and start upgrading past that to as high as you can using shiny gold dagger dude. Also find a Sorcerer pawn, or use your own, and make sure they know High Gicel as it has a habit of knocking enemies on their butt especially dragons.
