Hope this helps. My controller is working fine now.
My XOne controller was doing some weird stuff not only in Dragon's Dogma but in other games as well, so I just switched to my PS4 controller and everything works like a charm.
XOne & X360 controllers seem to have really short lives. I had 2 X360 controllers in the past 7 months and both started having issues with terribly loose analog sticks, pressing Y was pressing A at the same time etc.
On contrary my PS3 controllers are both well over 7yrs old and are in perfect working condition.
Don't get me wrong, I actually really liked XOne controller (spend over 200hrs using it in Witcher 3) but it starts acting funny as of recently.
I'd say just buy a PS3 or PS4 controller. They last much longer and emulate as 360 controller without any issues ;).
Thanks for the info. I might have to look into my drivers as well.
I usually keep my controller plugged in all the time, but I did have it disconnect after I yanked on the cord. This happened to coincide with my problems in Dragon's Dogma, so I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks.
