These things are the bane of my existence. I haven't found ONE in all the time I've been playing the game, and I have killed every saurian sage I come across. If anyone was feeling generous I'd appreciate a send. If not maybe a tip for best location and farming style to make one appear.

If you're in post-Daimon BBI, the only place Giant Saurian Sages spawn is in the Black Abbey. So, you'll need to head there to even have a chance for that item to drop - I'd recommend save scumming when you get the proper spawn in the Abbey as like the GSS themselves, it's a rare occurrence.

Alternatively, post your pawn's name, level and vocation and I'm sure someone will send one your way.

What's the pawn's level? Update it here when ever you rest so people can actually find it. There's no way to search for pawns by name. Only by level. Once searched by level, you can specify vocation and try to identify by name on the list.

I had to farm the Black Abbey (post-Daimon) to get one--which I promptly made copies of at the Black Cat. Basically, enter the Black Abbey. There are like 7 combinations of things that may spawn, Giant Saurian Sages with I think a Wyvern being one of the options. If you don't see the GSS, exit, save, re-enter. Repeat until they spawn. Think I did it 10-12 times--they eventually spawned.

Just so y'all know-- when searching for a very specific pawn, it's best to know the current level, vocation and gender.

That way, if-- say-- all the level 85 female Striders walk into one's Rift, looking at the pawn's name and then the owner's ID name in the pawn's Details can confirm that that's the right pawn to rent in order to make a gift.

My bad, I forgot how hard it was to track down specific pawns. Well, as a just in case, here is the full thing.

On a side note I also haven't found a single banshee larynx through two full playthroughs of the game.

I think RNG wrote me a blank cheque with my save file as a lot of the gears I want I'm also not getting from the set loot drop table for level 3 cursed gears. But that's fine I guess, it's nice to have goals.
