Question about the No Honor Among Thieves quest
I've seen that you need a party of all females (and dress in drag whenever needed in order to seem female) in order to get the Thick as Thieves quest from the misandrist female thieves.

The question is, for the opposing quest from the opposing thief band, do you need a party of all dudes? If so, is there a piece of equipment my very female main pawn can wear to fool them?

the only thing i could think of is that you maybe attacked them earlier (inside the castle), maybe just one slash (and then you teleported out or what)? because they will remain aggro for a certain time, maybe a week or so, don't know for sure but i bet you can google it if that is the case. so that means you have to sleep for a week or two and then they shouldn't attack you anymore.

I waited two weeks, and the doorman let me in. The problem is that everyone aggro'd immediately after I got close to the leader (everyone's weapons were sheathed, I didn't attack anyone, the boss just immediately aggro'd). Strangely, it's the same as when I approach the leader of the Ophis thieves when not crossdressing in a team of females.

then i don't know, did only make assumptions anyway. i've googled maul aggro dragons dogma and the problem seems to have occurred to others as well, now and then. the wikia says two weeks sleeping should suffice, some posts that it doesn't. the only post i found of someone who had the problem and got it fixed was that he just played the game regularly up until he had to meet the duke (because if you meet the duke the quest gets auto-cancelled), then slept 8 days in a row, hired only male pawns (some wrote that having a lot of female pawns and or being female yourself CAN make them aggro) (though wikia says nothing about that (and i usually play with mostly female pawns and never had that problem)), avoided the bandits outside the camp & then he could talk to maul.

still, in case you don't know it, you don't need both badges for anything important, if all fails i could just send you one, maybe it will autosolve the quest, idk, maybe it won't give your pawn max knowledge for the quest but if you're looking for the hero achievement it should work (if carrying the badge autosolves the quest that is).

Thanks, but I'd rather earn my achievement legit, so I'll try getting the quest every so often. Luckily, according to the Hero achievement guide, the cut off for this quest is the final battle.

huh, just reposted what the other said in his post (the one with the same problem who said he solved it this way) blindly. ok. maybe the salomet's grimoire quest gets autocancelled then. btw, when you finally get to be able to speak with maul gift him a lot of skulls, until you hear the chime (affinity), he and steffen have escort quests for golden stings (mace, mystic knight) & golden snags, some of the better items you can get as escort rewards.

Okay, I did a few sidequests over a few days, stayed at the Cassardis inn for two weeks straight, and changed my rift pawns to males. I finally got this bastard's quest, and I'm proceeding to betray my Ophis allies.
