There was nothing I could not do wth that Arisen.
HP: 3848
Stam: 3004
Str: 374
Mag: 580
Def: 337
Mag Def: 570
My preference is to load out with two high +MAG rings rather than third tier skill rings. Third tier rings are just too slow in the heat of battle.
HP: 4808
Stam: 3020
Str: 358
Mag: 486
Def: 457
Mag Def: 477
Notable boost to HP and Def, but at the cost of nearly 100 Mag and Mag Def. Source is the stat planner, with a starter class as Mage: https://stackoverflow.github.io/dragons-dogma-stat-planner/#am0000000000005a0000000000000000640000

The player uses no tools, periapts, boosters or curatives-- the only thing that doesn't match the OP's criteria is that he does have pawns present.
Now, a solo pure Magik Archer run could get "interesting" in low and mid levels. Any experience, Karathax?
But, naah, personally, the MA's bow drives me nuts; I loathe its autotargeting, hate that its elements are locked to a particular skill and dislike lengthy charging time for its skills.
I'd rather be a Strider, TBH.
After recently getting a Brain Splitter ring for my Assassin, i switched back to Strider. 3500 damage + adhesion + opportunism + topor from rusty bow makes solo work childs play for BBI solo even post Daimon.
LIkewise i switched from my 190 lvl sorcer to a Magic Archer and didn't see what the big deal was until i killed 3 Garm with ricochet hunter while they were below me and not even visible while in the garden by bouncing the arrows off the wall.
Sorcerer was powerful but vulnerable, MA is powerful but so adaptable it feels less vulnerable and the Assassin felt like i owned the place.
So far, this MK has some strengths but no contest given it's slow playstyle. So far, i would only recommend this to someone that only wanted sword and shield play but even then; Assassin.
Thank you for the response. It's nice to get a response from someone that has experience to offer. I have many hours into this game (not nearly what you are boasting) and have played as everthing in everyway but never MK. I can now close that chapter as well.
Aren't you forgetting that Ol' Ghost used Exhilaration and Equanimity in that video, thus +35% attack and +20% magic? I know that tidbit for sure, because that video was the very thing which inspired me to get back into PC DDDA as MK. But whatever, I guess your answer already satisfied the OP's requirements. I personally don't like getting my defenses too high, although like I said, even with higher base defense like a 11-200 MK would have, a few offensive periapts and those two critical health augments can help damage output.
So, in effect, there's more than one way to achieve the goal of extracting the most power from one's build.
