If by sheer defense, Patterned gambison is.
If by damage reduction, it's Dragonleather Vest
If by resistances it's Abyssinal outfit or Bliaut if you're a Mage
Most balanced: Silver Chestplate IMO
BTW Trophy jacket will never look good on a male in the first place, so...
idk, go with Hunter shirt I guess? Or sexchange.
One of my personal favorites is the Marshal's Bracers. +5 Strength plus it has Skill Stifling resistance which can suck big time if you don't have it. I have it on my pawn and I think it looks pretty cool.
but for a yellow vocation sleep is the biggest downfall, i usually opt for a simple brigandine jerkin for a yellow vocation, the patterned gambeson also has sleep resistsance (and is stronger all in all).
for a mage or sorcerer it woudl have to be the abbyssinal outfit (to fill the gap in petrification resistance left by L3 armor for mages).
BTW, i fifnally saw the video you did with the caged fury, pretty neat man, but i don't see how you do it so well, as a strider it is easy to not be hit, much harder as a mage/sorcerer.
you did make me want to go back and try to wrap my head around mage/sorcerer though.
am working on a magic based MK after watching all that.
