What's the deal - Gorecyclops ?.
I consider myself having a very fast reactiontime, molded by years and years
of gaming. But whenever i fight Gorecyclops and i am climbing on them to hit the eye,
and i see them do the animation to try and grab me, i instantly spam my jump...
But no matter how fast i start spamming, even if it's within a second, they ALWAYS
manage to grab me for a snack.

So WTF is the deal with these extra large cyclops in BBI ?, aren't we suppose to
be able to avoid this grab while climbing on them ?`. I think melee have a hard enough
time in this game so this issue should deffo NOT exist.

You are suppose to do...
whatever you want. There's no system or anything. Evade by timed jump, get grabbed and break free with Egression. Whatever works,

As for the grab itself. I've no issues believing that hand hitbox is messed up, as he can even grab you while reaching forward.

Anyway, avoiding the face grab is definitely doable.

It's not just your timing you have to worry about.
It's also the size of these big beasts.

Even if you time it right, that doesn't mean you'll avoid the big palm still.

And if you want to go in Melee with them, I recommend a shield, safety stones, and cutting at their heels as if you are Fingolfin fighting against Morgoth. Or have a pawn that debilitate them, and perhaps a Strider pawn with explosive arrow and cloudburst.

But solo well.. I'd be cutting the feet off.

Focus Knock em down first before climb. Torpor from rusted weapon also could help to slow mo em down

I've tried everything on my fighter and i can't knock them over, i even spammed
my shieldbash on their legs and nothing happens. So sofar i've just been killing them
the old way... with lots of climbing and mushrooms.

I have a really good Archer that helps a lot. And eventho my sorc has
some good spells, they hardly ever use them because they're standing still for 30 seconds
channeling while the cyclops smashes them.

You need good weapon, impact augment(passive skill) and 2x barbed nails ring. Hes easier to knockdown when hes holding weapon.
I recommend use burst strike https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2232815901

Strider pawn with fracture dart straight up melt em quick.

Tried using a "shattered earth" scroll? That thing will even take a cursed dragon off it's feet to lay writhing in pain upon the ground. Using a "Time Orb" (inflicts topor) can slow it down as well. Only drawback to both is ya gotta get really close for either of them to do any good.

You dont climb gorecyclops when they are standing:
- They are too high, so if you jump of them you take fall damages.
- They have a spiked armor that damage you when you climb them.
- If you touch their arm when they are trying to grab you, you get grabbed no matter what.

The only moments you can climb them are when they are still chained to their wall or after they got knocked down.

or....

climb on their right heel and attack that part instead of trying to reach their eye. When you're on their right heel, they have no way to reach you.... Beware to jump off before their stomping attacks though.

As an assassin there's also another time window to thousand kiss their eye:
- counter their club swing with masterfull kill
- once your character jump off the masterfull kill, double jump and grab their face
- thousand kiss them on the eye for a few second untill they get out of the staggered state the masterfull kill have put them in.
- carefully jump off in 2 steps: jump off the eye to grab the torso/leg, climb down, jump off to the ground.
