Badge of Vows 39 & 40 - Solution
Since these are the ones that causes the most trouble, here's a guide in case you got locked out of them by completing Deny Salvation (It involves a simple glitch):

Near the then blocked entrance that would lead you to them, there are, VERY CONVENIENTLY, two barrels. The glitch is called Barrel Glitch, and here's how it works:

Get both barrels near the rocks blocking the entrance. Place one immediately near the rocks, then grab the other, GO INSIDE the first one and keep jumping. When you place barrels down, there's a small window of time where they lose collision, and when the collision kicks back in, it will push you inside the sealed of area.

The game won't show you the location the badges are in the map, because the map is disabled for this section (you shouldn't be in here, after all), but the badges are there as if the place was never blocked off. Badge 39 is in the blocked off section where you go up some winding stairs (when you reach the top, lock back to the stairs and the badge is on the ceiling, just shoot it down), Badge 40 is in the area where you fight 2 Wights, and since this area completely breaks down in the cutscene with the dragon, don't get scared by the lack of floor. You can walk here normally. The badge would be on the archway with the door, but that's no longer there. The badge is just floating in the air in this case, shoot it down and grab it.

Added bonus of all this: every chest in this locked section will re-stock itself normally, so you can loot them again. (If you want to complete the Gryphic Set, this is a good place to get it's parts.)

I don't recommend saving inside the sealed off section though, so if you want to reset and save scum the chests, go back outside the sealed off section, save, reload, glitch back in... And so on.

And good luck out there, Arisen.

I'm going to try this tomorrow and I'll see if it still works in 2024. I just finished Deny Salvation actually and because I was a Warrior plus fighting the Wights it was all happening so fast and I couldn't reach it as a warrior anyway.
