New game +
So if there's no enemy scaling, what's the point of ng+ instead of doing a new character?

I know but, it's not a bit too easy to be fun? (i know fun is subjective, but...)

Simple
There is no New Game plus.
What ppl refer to as NG+ is just same old content all over again, with meaningless tweaks like buying Portcrystals.

BTW Doing a new character is fun :)

So hard mode isn't worth doing?

So called NG+, the subsequent playthrough after finishing the first one, has nothing to do with Hard Mode which you can turn on at any time.

But yes, IMO Hard Mode isn't worth doing.

I like to repeatedly kick Grigori's ass for sick dragonforged loot

Well if you want to be philosophical about it, the games plot sort of demands that everything repeats forever. To be practical about it, the game can't truly end or players would be annoyed they can't fart around on their endgame characters. To be sweaty about it, there's an achievement for beating the game twice in a row.

Hardmode give you double RC and exp so pawns you hire get also more RCs for their owner. That's to the point where you dont really need to bother with getting your pawn hired when playing hardmode all the time...

It also increase your stamina consumption forcing you to be tactical in combat instead of just using brain dead OP skill spamming, which makes the game more interesting.

The damages you take are also increased but, once you're high level that doesnt really make a difference really....

Oh and everytime you complete a playtrough in hardmode you get a selene outfit (forest tunic).

How does level scaling = fun? If anything it is the opposite If i am level 80+ no bandit or goblin should even be a minor threat to me. Having bandits with top tier equipment and skills is what ruins immersion for me. If you are strong enough to fight a dragon why am I so special? It takes away from the sense of progress and strength.

no but if you kill everything else too easily isn't too much fun, at least for me.
