As for augments like clout, you can always get them after you reach level 200, when your stats would be set
Thx, I didn't know that you still get DCP points after level cap (if I understood correctly).
2. Playing other vocations to get their augments is defintely worth it. Not necessary but worth it. Especially Sorcerer, for Articulacy. But If I were you I wouldn't bother myself with builds and stats till I finished the game at least once.
And you can enjoy any vocation if there is enough EXP mergin window before next level up.
As for augments i recommend Morbidity (Ranger rank 6) as you play Assassin for a while.
As for the utility of clout on a MK... depends.... on your way of fighting things and your skill set-up. But to make it simple, MK is a caster vocation, better max out magic with augments first and focus on magical skills. Physical skills on MK are rather utlity skills (to spam great canon, to iframe, etc...), so you dont really bother with improving their damages rate with augments.
As for min-maxing, best stat build for a given vocation is to play that vocation for your entire leveling. Beside being a caster vocation, MK is also a tank vocation designed to stay close and personnal with dangerous ennemies that will eventually use guard breaks, unblockable attacks or grabs on you.... MK stats growth give you lot of HPs and defense.
Save min maxing for when you'll be very confident with the ins and outs of the game mechanics and of the vocation you want to min-max.
If you're in a hurry, yes going sorcerer from level 100 will improve your magic attack more than any other vocation..... but you'll have to play as a sorcerer for 100 levels while you seems like what you want to play is MK.... dont be in a hurry to make the game obnoxious to play for you....
TBH, i myself didn't really see how all other vocation works until about 120 bc at this level, I could level up any vacation and my ST is high up there so not really anything can stop me.
And my suggestions might be the same as the other. Get any augment that helps MK, especially magic and diminishing augment time, you can use Ring of Perseverance and Asura Armor in case of leveling too much on other vocation while you trying to get its augment for you MK.
You will be surprised how Ninefold Arrow works out when you get to 180+ MC lol
That being said, offense is the best defense, so if you are min-maxing MK (or MA) I like to go for starting as strider, 82 levels as assassin, then sorcerer until 200. this gives you 600/600 for your attacking stats and 4k stamina which makes it a viable build to play as any class, though it is optimized for the classes that deal both types of damage.
11-200 MK.
Damage is only 100 magic off of the max, but magic defense is stupid high.
That plus high % magic reduction gear and you can just stand in most spells and not really take damage.
Then with sanctuary plus the right gear and augments, you do not really take physical damage either.
Holy great cannon destroys Daimon without having to use consumables.
Yeah, I was originally going to go 11-200 sorc, but I saw that immortal video and how you could stop most damage, so I figured I could play around some with max magic defense.
I did my pawn the same way. I even played as a warrior for a while just spamming arc of obliteration for damage.
I made my pawn a warrior for a while as well, with Indomitable Lunge as there only skill and Iraklis as their weapon. He melted the bishop in one lunge while I was testing it and I was sold after that. It was kinda good.
Doing Mystic Knight atm with pawn as a sorc. Trying to get the enough gear to mess around with Magick Archer.
Thank you for input
As i already started new Arisen and my pawn started as Fighter switch to strider lv10 now
But i think i will change her more M.Def oriented path
Taking a trio of sorcerer is tempting (and extremely OP), but since MK already mostly deal magic damages, it will be redundant and every fights against ennemies immune to magic will become more obnoxious than they should....
I usually keep sorcerer trio for when I play MA.... because of magic rebalancer. Stack it 4 times and whatever your sorcerer pawns will cast will absolutely nuke the area even if they use the wrong elemental attack and even if the ennemies are immune to magic.... just for the lol, you need to see this at least once with 3 sorcerer pawns that synch cast bolide/seism.....
