if it happen, it will have to be a mod. I dont believe capcom would spend a penny in a 2016 game.

There have already been case of game getting such a mod in the past: Fallout new vegas, but this game was way easier to mod and had a way bigger modding community.

DD2 have already been a thing. It was a MMO, limited to japan and it has already been taken down a few monthes ago.... what's to come, if anything come, is DD 3.

I already talked to Nucleus about it. I'm working on this mod with a few people. Need someone from Nucleus to make a script that let's the game accept input from more than 1 controller. Then, I've got someone writing up a cheat engine script that temporarily disables Pawn AI, and makes them controllable with a controller like the Arisen is. The ideas have been discussed, but it's kinda slow getting off the ground since people are busy.

Has any progress been made towards controlling the pawn AI? I'm still really interested in this. If it's been discontinued, I'd love to have access to any materials made up to this point to see if I can complete them myself.
