Some of those only show before killing the dragon.
All named and dialog'd bosses have before and after quests.

1.It's not a chain, and not quests just chores ;)
2. There are actually three boards. And to get access to all chores you have to clear the current ones first.
3. Also, as hinted above some chores appear before and some during Post-Game. And actually all named By Royal Decree are unlocked Post-Game.

The BBI quests and moonbeam chests are a way to provide you access to tier 2 inventory and gear so that you could have access to these things even if you have not purified any cursed items.

Have you checked the III request board? In arisen's refuge. OR you missed the request board in Warior's respite. I presume the Harbor notice board is very hard to miss since it is directly behind Olra.

I am writing this because you asked about "both" request boards , not all three ;)

By royal 1,2,3 decree is only available in post game. And after you’ve beaten enough quests in the same quest board. Recommend doing unseen rival (2 i think, it’s the one with 2 condemned gorecyclopes) before by royal decree 1 and accursed errand and the quest with 2 living armors before unseen rival to get the first one in the chain to pop up. Accursed errand also gets you access to some of the bbi level 2 weapons in barroch’s shop so it’s definitely worth doing if you don’t want to grind for cursed gear.

huh didn’t know fighting large monsters/enemies was a chore.

I guess you can say dragon’s dogma itself as a game is a chore then. Since the whole game is about fighting large bosses. That’s objectively what makes it fun and unique.

But then why are you playing the game if you think the most fun thing in it is a chore? Maybe you should stop playing it if you don’t like it lol

It depends. If the background for fighting monsters is full fledged plot with cut scenes, dialogues and writing, you can consider it a quest.

If it's just the errand from the board that you take up to get paid then it's just a job. Just cause you like your job, doesn't mean it's a quest.

Another sign of fake RPG.

Now, now. If Mr Crusader considers any task the player is officially comissioned to a quest, y know, like a game mechanics where this part of a gameplay is codenamed "quest", then yes, everything that goes into your log is a quest.

Naturally one can also call this mechanics errand (Bully The VIdeo Game), mission (militaristic games) or activity (Sains Row series).
